Lose your I-797 approval notice?
In order to get a duplicate notice, you must file
Form I-824 while the validity dates are still current/active. You cannot request a duplicate notice for an approval notice that is beyond it's validity dates. The filing fee must be paid by you, the employee, and is currently $465. To avoid this cost, please keep all your prior immigration documentation in a safe, secure place. We recommend scanning copies of documents as well in case the originals are lost.
